Eskişehir AFB Turkey - Phantom 50th Anniversary - Nov 24

An invitation received at very short notice from the Turkish Air Force produced a Phabulous Phantom Phest. On base at Eskişehir we were allowed access to the very edge of the taxipaths and within 30 metres of the runway to witness take-off, landings and a 10 airframe Elephant Walk. The upgraded F-4E 2020 Terminator Phantom II was the subject for the day. Despite the low cloud base and cold conditions the event was a total success. Many thanks to the Turkish Air Force for this Phantastic opportunity.
